I only take on a few aligned projects at a time, which means you get personal, thoughtful attention—and no templates. Just what’s needed, and nothing more.

• You must provide a fully edited manuscript (I do not offer editing or proofreading services, but can refer you to trusted professionals).
• Your manuscript must also be professionally formatted and accompanied by a print-ready cover. I don't offer these services.
• I do not work on books that are rushed to market. This is a slow publishing studio—each project is handled with deep respect for the words, the writer, and the reader.
• Projects must align with the tone and values of Ground Water Publishing
• I only take on a handful of projects at a time, ensuring full presence and attention for each.

Investment and Value:
Working with me involves an investment that reflects the time, focus, and creative energy I dedicate to your project while stepping away from my own. Each project is quoted individually, with clear scope agreements and outcomes agreed upon at the outset. That way, if the fit is right, the fee can reflect the true value of what's created. Some people will be able to (and want to) do far more of this finishing work than others.

I offer an initial consultation at no cost. It's how we decide if we're aligned. I only say yes to work and projects that come from mutual respect and shared purpose. That foundation is essential.

I'm based in South West Queensland, but I travel widely to meet stories, people, and projects where they are. I can also organise face-to-face interviews and support over Zoom or via Teams.

I often work pro bono, but I reserve the right to work only with genuine people who have a good heart and soul and whose intentions align with mine. Because life is too short and our plates too full, for wasting the precious little time we have for creative pursuits.
